bPiShift: A snap-on 5 V logic level shifter for Raspberry Pi GPIO
bPiShift is a compact, plug-and-play logic-level shifter that connects directly to the Raspberry Pi’s 40-pin GPIO header. It bridges the 3.3 V GPIO logic of your Pi with 5 V sensors, microcontrollers, or serial devices – safely and cleanly, without messy jumper wires or breadboard clutter.
bPiShift uses proven MOSFET-based bidirectional circuits to ensure reliable voltage translation in both directions. Whether you’re working with I²C sensors, serial peripherals, or custom digital logic, it maintains proper logic levels and prevents accidental over-voltage damage to your Pi’s GPIOs.
Built for the Raspberry Pi Ecosystem
Designed specifically for Pi 2/3/4/5 and Zero series boards, bPiShift is mechanically and electrically compatible with the entire Raspberry Pi lineup. It’s small enough to fit inside most standard Pi enclosures and keeps access to key peripherals open. From classroom projects to embedded systems, bPiShift brings a new level of safety and simplicity to every build.
Unlike typical level-shifting modules that require tangled wiring, bPiShift plugs directly into the Pi header. Its precision-aligned connector ensures a secure fit without blocking ports or interfaces. The result? A neat, professional-looking setup that minimizes wiring errors and signal noise-ideal for both prototyping and deployment.
